If you have defined any custom fields for pick tickets or shipments, they will appear after the standard SOS Inventory fields, in the Custom fields section of the transaction. The fields will be of the input format and value that you have defined.
Add lines (). Click the icon to add additional lines to the line item table. The number of lines added is established by the number specified by your company in the Default lines setting (Tools & settings > Configuration > Company > General).
Add order. Adds the items on a sales order or sales receipt to a pick ticket or shipment transaction. If other open sales orders or sales receipts for the same customer exist, they will be listed in the dropdown. Select the desired sales order or sales receipt, then click the Add button to import the items from that transaction that are available to be placed into the pick ticket or shipment. The Applied to column displays the sales order or sales receipt from which the item was imported, along with its line number in that transaction.
Applied to. The invoice, sales order (SO), or sales receipt (SR) to which a line item is applied, along with the item's line number (Line #) on the associated transaction.
Assigned to. The user to whom the transaction is assigned.
Channel. Sales channel from which this sale was initiated (such as Web Order). Channels must be defined before they can be used. See Adding and using Channels for more information.
Class. Class assigned to this line item. This field is enabled only if Class tracking is enabled in your QuickBooks connection settings (Tools & settings > Configuration > Connections > QuickBooks). On shipments only.
Clear lines. Aicon in the column header of a table or line-item area clears the content of all line-items in a table, but not the lines themselves. By contrast, aicon in a line-item row removes both a line and its contents.
Comment. An internal note for this transaction. The comment is not displayed on a transaction when printed or emailed unless this field is added to the pick ticket or shipment form template.
Create bill. On shipment transactions, if the Ship method is selected and Shipping cost is added, the Create bill option can be selected to generate a bill for the carrier. It is sent to QuickBooks Online upon saving the transaction.
Customer. Customer for whom the pick ticket or shipment applies. Once a customer is selected, the system imports from the customer definition data for the address blocks (on shipments only) and customer notes.
Customer address. The billing address of the customer for whom the order is being shipped. On shipments only.
Customer message. A message to the customer that is displayed on a shipment transaction. This field can be expanded to become as large as needed, up to 1000 characters. The message can be entered manually, or a predefined message that your organization has defined in SOS Inventory can be inserted by selecting the Predefined messages button and choosing a message from the dropdown.
Customer notes. Internal notes from the customer definition. The customer note is not displayed when the transaction is printed or emailed unless this field is added to the transaction's form template.
Customer PO. The customer purchase order number. On shipments only.
Date/time. Transaction date with timestamp. Use the Now button to update it to the current date/time.

Item description. The sales description, as entered in the item definition, will be used by default.
Fill. Found in the Class and Job columns of the line-item table, the Fill button assigns to all items the same class or job as that assigned to the item in the first line of the table.
Force to ShipStation. Sends a shipment transaction to ShipStation the next time it retrieves data from SOS, even if ShipStation does not request it.
Item. Enter or select the desired item. New items can also be created from within the transaction. If the item is in a bin-tracked location, the Item block will also contain a bin ID field. You will need to select the bin for the item.
Job. Job to which this line item belongs. This feature is available on the Pro Plan only. To use this feature, Job tracking (Tools & settings > Configuration > Production > Jobs) must be enabled in SOS Inventory.
Location. The location where the order is being picked or shipped.
Multitool. A multifunctional icon in the far-left column of a line item. The Multitool is a convenient feature found on transaction line items and some other tables used in SOS Inventory. The Insert tool (), located in the top left corner of the Multitool, inserts a blank line above the current line item. The Move tool moves and reorders line items by clicking, holding, and dragging theicon. The Copy tool () duplicates the data in one line item to the line immediately below it.
On hand. The in-stock quantity of an item.
Pick by. The date by which the items must be picked.
Pick qty. The quantity of the item being picked.

These stored messages must be defined in the Customer messages list (Tools & settings > Configuration > Lists > Customer messages) before they will appear in the dropdown.
Priority. The urgency with which this transaction is to be processed. The Priority field’s dropdown options display those which have been predefined by your company. See Priorities for information on setting up this feature.

Ship By. The date by which the order must be shipped. On shipments only.

Shipping cost. On shipments, the actual cost paid to a shipping carrier to ship the goods listed.
Signature. An authorized user's name, signed with a stylus or finger. A pick ticket or shipment transaction can be signed only when created or edited using SOS Inventory's iOS app. However, the signature on a saved transaction can be viewed on any device. If a transaction does not have a signature, the transaction will say No signature. If a signature has been obtained, the associated list's Signature column will say Yes for that transaction record.
Tracking number. The number assigned to a shipped order by a carrier. On shipments.
UOM. The unit of measure for an item, if the Units of measure feature is enabled. Available on Plus and Pro plans only.
