The SOS Pay version of the Payments list (Operations > Sales > Payments) includes most Payment transaction records. The exception is the sales receipt transaction, which is considered to be its own payment record and is not included in the Payments list. However, sales receipt payments are posted directly on the SOS Pay list.
The Payments list also includes payments created in QuickBooks Online and synced to SOS Inventory.
To access the Payments list:
Refer to Users (user administration) for more information on creating users and assigning privileges.

The SOS Pay link in the upper right corner of the Payments list refers you to the SOS Pay list.
The standard column options on the Payments list are Date, Customer, Amount, Method, Location, Channel, Department, Sync, SOS pmt, Documents, and Comment. This information is pulled directly from payment transactions, except for the SOS pmt column. The data in this column links a payment record number to its entry on the SOS Pay list. SOS pmt is not displayed by default. You have to choose it using the Columns feature.
If a deposit is entered when creating a sales order, the system-generated payment transaction will also include the message Deposit for sales order [transaction reference number] in the payment's Comment column.
Refer to the Adding payments with SOS Pay folder for topics explaining the different methods of creating payments.
