V9 - User menu
Located on the Task bar, the User menu (indicated by gray circle icon with the user's initials in white) allows an individual user to create and manage tasks, establish setting preferences (including changing the user's email address), changing their password, and sign out of SOS Inventory:
Administrators should use the Users list (Company > Users) to create/deactivate/reactivate users, manage their permissions, and lock/unlock user accounts.
Tasks
Users can set tasks for themselves or others in SOS with due dates that can be tracked on the Calendar.
To add tasks, go to User > Tasks. You can click +Add to add a new task. Provide a title for the task (it must be unique) and a description to explain the task, if needed. Then assign it to yourself or another SOS Inventory user, set a complete-by date, and then save.
Once the task is finished, locate the task on the Task list and select Mark as complete from the task's Actions dropdown--or open its Edit page by selecting the link in the task record's name, check the Completed box, and then save. Mark as complete is also available as a batch action.
You can bypass navigating to the User menu if you receive a notification and want to create a related task for it. See Adding a task from within the Notifications list for more information.
