V8 - Reconcile vendor credits report
The Reconcile vendor credits report will provide the date and value of a return-to-vendor transaction in SOS Inventory in comparison to the corresponding vendor credit in QuickBooks. This report can highlight situations in which SOS Inventory created a vendor credit in QuickBooks and a user changed or deleted a vendor credit in QuickBooks. Such actions create a mismatch between the valuation in SOS Inventory and the asset account in QuickBooks.
infoTIP: On returns to vendors (RTVs), the item that is removed from inventory will affect the asset account and the accounts payable account, according to the valuation method you have chosen in SOS Inventory. This value may or may not be the same as the amount of credit the vendor provides. If this is the case, it is recommended that you add a second line to the vendor credit to account for the difference in the valuation-method-derived value of the RTV and the amount of actual credit given by the vendor.
